It has always been an aspiration of mine to one day open my own salon. With the help & support of my family and friends, in November 2016 that dream became a reality and Róandi Beauty was born.
Róandi Beauty is a quiet retreat from the busy lives that people lead. With its calming environment, people leave feeling pampered and refreshed.
As each year goes by and the business grows, it’s great to see new clients coming to the salon, better still seeing regular clients. Now in 2025 and the opening of our brand new custom built salon, Róandi Hair & Beauty is ready to welcome our regular and new clients to our calming retreat.

The word Róandi, derived from the Icelandic language, translates to "Calming" in English. This beautifully captures the essence of what we aim to create at our salon—a tranquil retreat where relaxation and rejuvenation take centre stage. Co-Founded by Samantha Smith, a seasoned professional with 12 years of experience in the beauty and well-being industry, our salon has weathered the storms of economic challenges and emerged stronger. Since its establishment on 15th November 2016, Róandi has steadfastly navigated through various economic periods, demonstrating remarkable resilience and unwavering commitment, especially during the unprecedented trials of the COVID-19 pandemic.
